WISHING WELL BOUQUET BROOCH

Colorful and fun, the flowers are paint enamel.  The gold tone cast brooch is textured and there are some faux, simulated pearls.    Some crackles in the enamel and a few pin head chips ... not obvious, and the brooch is more than acceptable at "wearing distance", priced accordingly.    About 2 inches, vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition, circa 1960.

ENAMEL ORCHID BROOCH

A beauty, it is hand painted in white and pink.  Two cast gold tone metal parts are joined with a rivet.  Marked Corocraft,  about 3 inches, vintage costume jewelry in very good condition.   The back side of the brooch is a soft granular texture with tracing of the veins in the petals and leaves.  There is a tiny pin head size flake 3/4 of the way up the left, upper petal, in the center.  And, most too small to see, some teeny-tiny on the high points of the center, lower petal.  Great condition for an old enamel piece.

ELZAC "VICTIM OF FASHION" BROOCH

My goodness, who would have thought that the California pottery company Elzac, in the mid- 1940s,  would have the perfect image of a Star Trek Alien, but here she is.   This California company made a jewelry series, using hand painted pottery faces, plastics, yarn and other materials for decoration.   The blue lady is missing a bit of the black eye paint and red lip paint.   The background is red lucite.   2 1/2 inches wide x  about 2 1/4 high.   Vintage costume jewelry, embedded clasp with locking C.

UNUSUALLY LARGE CARVED IVORY FACE

I have no idea what this  face represents, perhaps one of the Gods,  but it is very old as evidenced by the sliding trombone latching clasp and is probably early 20th century.   It's large, 2 1/4 inches, deeply carved, with light red tinting in the mouth and at the edges of the eyeballs, some brown tinting  in the crevices to give depth, and black embedded in the engraved facial hair.    A thoroughly frightening fellow, but a wonderful find if you collect ivory or art objects.    The clasp is held by two tiny screws and the back side shows a several marks.   Antique estate jewelry in absolutely excellent condition.

ENAMEL MAGIC ~ BROOCH

An exceptionally fine enamel flower brooch.   From the 1930-40s, and still in beautiful condition.  Note the gradually deepening color of the red from the center of the petals outward;  and the carefully done pave' work around the center, on the edges of the turned petals and on the leaves.  Minor loss of green enamel on the leaf at 2PM and on the leaf at 10AM.   One small dot of red missing in the lower lobe of the petal at 7PM; not a chip but more likely originally a bubble in the enamel.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition, 3 5/8 inches.

SHOW STOPPING  BRACELET & EARRINGS *** SET ***

Indian Princess with red braids and red zigzag headband below a headdress, and large hoop earrings. Embellished with faux, simulated pearls.  The BRACELET, let me assure you, is silver tone and in excellent condition (the odd colors are reflections from the curvature of the round links).   About 7 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches, the bracelet will fit an average wrist.   Matching clip EARRINGS are 1 5/16 inches and show some loss of  plating on the  ear.    Vintage costume jewelry.
