THE LOOK OF ANTIQUE ~ HIGH QUALITY CLIP EARRINGS Heavily gold-plated STERLING earrings in an antique style. The
center is an amethyst color glass cabochon in a impressed quatrefoil
from which extends 8 arms set with 7 mm faux, simulated
pearls. Vintage costume jewelry in perfect condition, a little
over 1 1/4 inches. From the estate of an art aficionado, who
spent lavishly and also choose her jewelry for effect. These
are marked 925 9, sterling, and also with the initials AWR and an
additional unreadable mark. FEATHER LIKE LEAF DESIGN IN BLUE ~ EARRINGS Molded leaves in two complimentary blue colors, the thermoset plastic
has a moonglow-sheen appearance derived from the mirror backing. Two
dark Sapphire blue rhinestones complete the silver tone clip
EARRINGS. Signed Lisner, vintage costume jewelry, 1 1/4
inch, excellent condition like new on the front, slight wear on the
clips. RHINESTONE EMBEDDED THERMOSET EARRINGS Multi-color pastel rhinestones are embedded in white color, domed
Thermoset clip EARRINGS. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent
condition, about 1 inch, depth about 7/16th. Made to go with those
beautiful clamper bracelets of the 40s. Unsigned, typical
of Weiss. PERFECT EXECUTION OF A SIMPLE DESIGN ~ LILY EARRINGS All the elements of this design come together to make perfection.
These Sterling clip EARRINGS are simply lovely. Made in Mexico,
they were probably screw back earrings from an early era. They have
been professionally converted to clip back earrings. Vintage
estate jewelry in excellent condition, 1 1/4 inches.
K DENNING LOZENGE ENAMEL EARRINGS The center is a lozenge of transparent, liquid looking sea green
over a metallic back, giving it a soft sheen. Set on white and
seaweed green glass enamel fused to copper. Not signed, but if you
know Denning's jewelry you will recognize the lozenge
style. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent
condition. HOBE' EARRINGS You have to try these on to appreciate them. They look a little
weird, but like all Hobe' they don't miss the mark and they are very
interesting. Three aurora borealis beads along with three
Jonquil rhinestones. The gold tone flower pattern is one solid
leaf and three open, folding petals. Clip EARRINGS with the
little comfort roller, about 1 1/2 inches, in like new excellent
condition. CINER ~ SAPPHIRE COLOR RHINESTONE EARRINGS Fit for a Princess EARRINGS, the surmount has a rosette of clear
crystal rhinestones around a 9 mm faceted, sapphire color
rhinestone. The large pear shape, dark sapphire color, unfoiled,
faceted glass stone is surrounded by graduated clear rhinestones and
is suspended from the surmount. Silver tone, they are rhodium
plated. Total length of the CLIP earrings is 2 1/4
inches. Ciner is very high quality and traditionally
sold from fine jewelry stores. Vintage Costume Jewelry, circa
1960s, in like new excellent
condition. AREN'T THEY GORGEOUS EARRINGS Think "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend", the movie with Marilyn
Monroe. Three and a half inches long, ending in a beautiful faux,
simulated pearl drop. The almost bell shapes, liberally set
with tiny rhinestones and faux, simulated pearls are individually
linked top to bottom. These are screw back earrings, silver tone,
rhodium plated, high quality and signed Coro. Vintage costume
jewelry in like new excellent
condition. BILLIKIN EARRINGS, VINTAGE IVORY These are an old pair from about 1950. The green belly button is
presumed to be jadeite. Gold filled french hooks replace the
original little wires. Billikins are about 5/8 inch; length
with the hooks is 1 1/4 inches. Vintage estate jewelry, vintage
ivory. STERLING TURQUOISE EARRINGS Sterling, turquoise and spiny oyster shell. Vintage estate
jewelry in like new excellent condition, the EARRINGS are clips and
measure 7/8 inch. Marked "925", thought to be southwestern Indian
artisan. FEATHERLIGHT RHINESTONE EARRINGS Featherlight molded in a fancy design and set with bright, sparkly
rhinestones. Vintage costume jewelry, circa 1950s,
1 1/2 inch clip EARRINGS in excellent condition.
STUNNING INLAID EARRINGS FABULOUS design and color combination. The materials appear to be
spiny oyster, lapis, two kinds of turquoise, and mother of
pearl. The Lapis and the sky blue turquoise don't have
any inclusions and perhaps that means they were made from the
reconstituted lapis and turquoise powder that is used in some inlay
jewelry by indian artisans. Clip EARRINGS, 1 inch, silver tone
metal. Vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent
condition. ERWIN PEARL ROMAN COIN EARRINGS "Roman" coin centered in a silver tone twist cable frame with four gold
tone "cord" stations. Clip EARRINGS, 1 inch, vintage costume
jewelry in like new condition, signed Erwin Pearl on the
clip. LAVISH HASKELLESQUE STYLE ~EARRINGS Underneath the glitz and glitter of the montee rhinestones and rows of
faux, simulated pearls, these drops are also faux, simulated pearl
The rhinestones and pearls are on cord and attach at bottom and top
of the drops. The surmount is a leaf shape, pavéd in strands of
pearls and rhinestones. They have used two of the gold tone leaves,
one on top of the other, making interesting visual depty.
Having seen similar work on beads of a necklace, I think these are
probably unsigned VENDONE clip EARRINGS, length 1 3/4
inches. Vintage costume jewelry in very excellent
condition. MINIATURE MUDHEAD KACHINA EARRINGS The Mudhead with his goggle eyes is the clown of Indian
ceremonies, both in the Zuni tribe and the Hopi tribe. These are
hand carved of wood, perhaps balsa, as they are very light. The
skirt is a fabric simulating suede and the fluffy neck piece is probably a
bit of pipe cleaner. Care has been taken in painting these, even the
bottoms of the feet. Suspended on french hooks, the total length is
1 3/4 inches. Estate jewelry in excellent
condition.
