NATURAL CLAW CHARM Natural claw charm, bear or tiger or whatever, has an 18K
(tested) ornate gold cap and cover over the raw edge of the
claw. The ornate work may be middle eastern and the high gold
content would tend to confirm that. Can be worn as a fob, charm, or

JADEITE BANGLE BRACELET True mineral jadeite bangle bracelet, tube shape with 11 mm wall.
Very light, watery jade color with black. 2 3/8 inches

HAPPY SAILOR 14K This curly hair fellow appears to be clicking
his heels or dancing. Sweet 1 3/4 inch pin from the late 1930s,
or early 1940s, probably worn on a collar by the sentimental sweetheart of
a young sailor. By Forstner, marked 14K. Vintage gold
estate jewelry in excellent condition. Estimated retail
replacement value $180. |

INCREDIBLE, TRUE ART, CARVING WITH A SURPRISE Each rectangular, thick plaque of old elephant ivory (guaranteed) is carved in great detail, with figures, building, foliage in high relief, and piercing and under carving where appropriate. This hasn't been cleaned and to see the wonderful detail you must look at the 3X enlargement , which will be slow loading but worth the wait. BRACELET is 7 1/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches x 5/16 inches thick & the six plaques are set in silver tone metal marked 'Silver China'. This kind of carving is no longer seen and I believe the bracelet to be circa 1920-30. The surprise? These were carved, on the reverse side, from pieces of a fairly crudely 'home made' Domino set, no telling how old those were at the time they were carved. Be sure to click on the thumbnail picture at left to see the back side. Antique estate jewelry. Replacement would be impossible, but I would guess that an insurance appraisal by an appraiser familiar with Orientalia might be $1,500 - $2500.
