DIAMOND BAND 14K  CIRCLET

Custom made RING, size 7, contains 4 marquise diamonds bezel set at an angle and flanked by four small  bezel set diamonds, the series is repeated four times between deep ruby red (darker than shown here) laboratory grown, kite shape rubies.  Total marquise diamond weight is approximately 0.28 carat.  Total diamond weight, including marquise is approximately 0.50 carat.   The band is 4 mm wide, 14K yellow gold, small flat spot on the bottom of the shank for comfort and to allow minimum adjustment in size.   Original owner's last appraisal was in 1980, for $1400.  Sparklz will reimburse return postage if this doesn't fit or you don't like it at this price!

16 mm  oval Opal  show lots of green and flame color, along with a little blue & purple.  Extremely nicely colored, the pinpoint  are evenly distributed and generous in number.   One of the best I've seen in the white opal category.  Ring size is 4 1/2.    14K tested & guaranteed,  yellow gold mounting, circa 160-70, hall mark indicates it was purchased in the Orient on a trip and never worn.  Estimated retail replacement value $600 +.    A very nice buy.

PINK SAPPHIRE, COBALT ENAMEL, 14K RING

A most unusual and stunningly beautiful RING.  The ornate metal work, seen from the side, and the cobalt blue enamel garnered this one the nickname "The Royal Crown" ring.   The enameled pieces are fluted and join at the center and at the edges, with space between each flute.  Above them is the bead finished bridges that extend from edge to center where they are joined with the flutes and with the center... a pink, almost fuchsia, oval natural sapphire.   Eight additional sapphires are tucked in at the ends of the flutes, between the bridges.   The sides and basket of the ring are ornate with scroll work, leaves, etc. The color of the sapphires is stunning against the blue enamel.   Sapphires estimated total weight is 2.30 carats.   Hand assembled, hand enameled, hand set, marked 14K.  Measures 1 inch x 3/4 inch.   Size is 7 1/2.   So unusual it would be difficult to replace ... estimated appraisal 2500-3500.

ART DECO PLATINUM FILIGREE RING

The Art Deco ring has two Old European cut diamonds bead set in millgrained square illusion heads  The diamonds are  0.68 carat VS-1 clarity, G-I color, and 0.67 carats, VS-1 clarity, G-I color.  There are four square French cut synthetic sapphires, two on each side, bezel set and millgrained.  Ten accent diamonds, old European cut, bead set in millgrained geometric mounting.   Total diamond weight is 1.89 carats.  Total synthetic sapphire weight is 0.40 carats.  The platinum mounting has a split shank heavily engraved with geometric designs.  The top center of the ring measures 7/8 inches x 1/2 inch.  This is a beautifully made ring in excellent condition and with very fine quality diamonds; you won't find a better one.   Ring size is 4 1/2 to 5... Can be sized up several sizes, please inquire.   Appraised by a Master Gemologist:  Total approximate retail value excluding tax $7,575, written appraisal dated Sept. 02 available.

14K CIRCA 1900  EDWARDIAN FILIGREE RING

This fine, white gold, filigree RING is set with six, faceted ruby red moon shapes around a rectangular center.  Though hard to see in the pictures, the rectangular center is filigree and has a clear stone (not a diamond) set in the center.   The filigree itself is in excellent condition with engraving extending down the shank, and five petal flowers and leaves gracing the shoulders.  The red gemstones are synthetic ruby and are the color shown in the thumbnail and the single enlargement.   The center clear stone is unknown, perhaps glass or rock crystal and is slightly abraded.  You can see all of the fine detail on this ring in this  enlargement though please disregard the ruby color as it is inaccurate in this scan.  The top of the ring measures 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch and sits 1/4 inch above the finger.  Size 5 /4 - 6.   Can this ring e sized ... perhaps, but not much.  If you need it larger or smaller let me check with the bench jeweler.   Antique fine estate jewelry.
