SOFT CORAL COLOR DEMARIO BROOCH *** SET ****

DeMario is hand wired and finished on the back with filigree covers, in the way that Haskell jewelry was made and it is often mistaken for Haskell.   "Old" gold findings on the leaves and petals, set with florets of the Haskell style faux, simulated pearls and opaque white glass dappled with a light coral color.  Vintage costume jewelry in very good condition, there is a little plating wear on a few of the ends of the leaves in the brooch.  Otherwise in excellent condition with no verdigris.   Marked DeMario, the BROOCH is about 2 inches.  The matching clip EARRINGS are 1 inch.

 STERLING FLOWER AND STAR BROOCH

 A 40's BROOCH with the soft luster of the gold plating used during that time.  The petal are open and have five pear shape emerald-color , unfoiled stones.  The round center stone is surrounded by a circlet of rhinestones, matching the points of the star shape.   Nice quality, gentled domed, 2 inches, vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

KREMENTZ 1950S NECKLACE ~ ROSE GOLD

Marvelous design and execution, the NECKLACE is very flattering.  The chain, which is allowed to slide  through keepers behind the rose gold tone flowers, is yellow gold tone.  The leaves are bright yellow and textured.  The four rounded- v-shapes in the center alternate rose with gold tone.   Marked Krementz, known for quality costume, gold filled and fine jewelry, and still sold in fine jewelry stores. Foldover clasp, length of the necklace is 15-16 inches.

MIRIAM HASKELL LEMONY CLIP EARRINGS

The huge 18 mm, faceted rhinestones are almost Jonquil yellow.  They have a little more lime undertone so they are being described as Lemony.  Prong set they are enclosed by a pinwheel of curved filigree petals.  Petals are hand wired in place, ala Haskell, and finished on the back by a filigree cover.  Clip EARRINGS in "old" gold tone,   1 1/8 inches, marked Miriam Haskell, vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition..

1920S CITRINE COLOR FILIGREE BRACELET

Pretty filigree is thought to be  chrome plated.   The bracelet is slightly oval, hinged on one side and opens with a hidden box clasp on the other side.  Set, four prong Deco style, with an oval, faceted, unfoiled citrine-color stone. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition, it measures 2 3/8 inches across and fits an average or smaller wrist.   Matching dangle Earrings are Item V130614A.   Matching pendant is Item V130614B.

A MARVELOUS BASKET *** SET ***

The best basket set ever.  The florals of the  base layer  is made up entirely of marquise rhinestones in several sizes using baguette rhinestones as stems.  The basket is outlined in gray 'black diamond' rhinestones, both round and baguette. with three shiny clear baguettes across the center.  The seven flowers are rainbow-aurora borealis crystal rhinestones, 6 petals around a raised center.  The flowers themselves set atop the background and each is riveted in place.  Rhodium plated silver tone, high quality, not signed.  The BROOCH is about 2 inches.  The matching clip EARRINGS, mirror images, are about 1 inch.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.set..

MIRIAM HASKELL!!!

 The epitome of Haskell style, on a very large scale, 4 1/4 inches. The old-gold tone leaf is pavéd in rhinestones, hand wired and finished on the back with a filigree cover.  Two large clusters of faux, simulated pearls dangle from the edge of the leaf.  Note the use of oblong and round pearls, in at least three sizes.  Unusual is the large rhinestones on the leaf and wired into the left cluster.   The pearls are in excellent condition and exhibit none of the usual wear.    Note that this picture was made facedown on a scanner and in reality the clusters hang closed and the chain is not seen. There is verdigris (the bane of all Haskells) on the head of the pins and where they are joined to the chain.  No cleanup should be attempted on this lovely piece, it has years and years to go if care is taken.   All the rhinestones are bright and there is no appearance of verdigris on that wiring or on the leaf.   Given the usual condition of well loved and worn Haskells, this one rates an excellent comparatively.
