SUPERB ENAMEL PENDANT CIRCA 1920-40

PERFECTLY EXQUISITE and pristine, a treasure as beautiful as the day it was made.  The pendant, 2 inches, contains enameled floral elements and a blue bird inside a frame set with marcasites.  Rhodium plated and marked sterling on the reverse.  The s-chain is 20-21 inches and it appears that an original jump ring type clasp was replaced with an easier to manage hook arrangement.  It is possible to remove the hook and replace with a jump ring if desired.  Vintage estate jewelry in top-notch excellent like new condition.

CINER MABÉ EARRINGS

Faux, simulated mabé pears set in the center of a gold tone wrap.  Two of the corners are pavé in clear rhinestones.  Clips have a molded gray pad.  The EARRINGS are 1 1/4 inches.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition., marked Ciner, and  usually sold in jewelry stores, they are high quality.  From the estate of an artist.

PAPAGAYO VIEJO ~ STERLING BROOCH

This is a very old, inlaid parrot brooch.   It was completely black with tarnish and came out of an estate where all the jewelry was very old.   It is marked Mexico and 925 and  an unreadable maker's mark.    About 2 inches wide, latching c- clasp, probably circa 1940.  Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.

HOLLYCRAFT BROOCH & EARRINGS *** SET ***

The BOOCH motif is an intricate circle of leaves or sheaves in antiqued gold tone.  The center is an intense amethyst color rhinestone, more than 1/2 inch across.  There are florets and buds set with light amethyst rhinestones.  Marked Hollycraft, copyright dated 1954.   Matching screw back EARRINGS are about 7/8 inch top to bottom.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

POETIC ROMANCE ~ KENNETH J. LANE FOR AVON

Wear this beauty as a BROOCH or as a PENDANT NECKLACE.   The Cameo brooch has an elaborate gold tone frame set with two oval mabé faux, simulated pearls and tiny "berry" faux, simulated pearls and a few sparkling rhinestones.  Then there is the dangling faux, simulated pearl drop at the bottom.   Length, including the dangling pearl is 3 1/4 inches.    Multi gold tone chain necklace features large faux, simulated pearls cupped with leaf shape end pieces.  Chain length is about 22 inches, with a chain extension allowing another 2 inches.    Vintage costume jewelry in like new condition.   Marked KJL for Avon on the brooch.

UNUSUAL TRIANGLE BROOCH

Assembled in tiers, the top section of long, unfoiled marquise glass stones sits almost 1/2 inch high.  The lower tier is large, unfoiled  glass stone, set at a slight downward angle.  All are prong set in black gunmetal which, along with the unfoiled stones, creates a very interesting look.  Vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition, about 1 3/4 inches.  Unsigned, good quality.

UNSIGNED 1930'S CHANEL BROOCH

PLATINUM & DIAMOND BAND

Platinum and Diamond band, containing fifteen single cut diamonds, estimated at approximately 0.30 ct.   The diamonds are excellent quality,  white and sparkling.  They extend around 1/2 of the ring. The ring size is 6 (may be sized up 1 or 2 sizes).  Marked "100 Irid., 900 Platinum', inscription  date is 1938.  Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.  Estimated retail replacement value $700-$800.

AKOYA CULTURED PEARL NECKLACE ~ VERY FINE QUALITY

 Japanese Akoya 15 3/4  inch cultured pearl strand with a 14K white gold  clasp.  The bottom of the clasp is shown; the top is flat and has a florentine texture, indicating probable circa 1960s.  This is an old strand from the days of excellent quality, 7- 7.5 mm in size.  The pearls are round, perfectly matched in color,  very high luster, and basically free of blemishes, quality is rated as Fine.  Estimated retail replacement $2,400.  The cord is clean and in good condition .. the pearls were probably never worn.

WIDE LINK BRACELET ~ TURQUOISE & COPPER

The large glass oval stones are light turquoise color , lightly marbled and finished with sprinkles of copper confetti.  They are set, along with some tiny faux, simulated pearls and red rhinestones, in scroll like antiqued gold tone links with a fold over clasp.   Vintage costume jewelry in very good condition with just the lightest of wear on the joining links.   7 1/8 inch x almost 2 inches, circa is perhaps 1960s.

GORGEOUS CORO COLOR BROOCH

Gold tone brooch in a star shape.  Notice that the body is made of many fronds, all pointed outward to the tips which are set with marquise shape rhinestones in  light blue sapphire, topaz,  olive green and aAt the very end a crystal aurora borealis.  The center is an aurora borealis rhinestone surrounded by spikes of black diamond baguettes  ... altogether a very effective smorgasbord of color.   2 3/8 inches, vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition, marked Coro.

JUST THE BEADS, MY DEARS

The picture just can't capture the glowing  embers of these beads.   It is  like the  mesmerizing coppery glow that occurs inside the blackened husk of burned wood.  The 10 mm beads are slightly rumply topaz glass with the inside full of foil.  Priced for the 19+ beads only because the metal filigree end caps and findings have darkened with age and lost the gold plating.  The NECKLACE is still very wearable and the cord appears to be sturdy and snug.  Wear it or use the beads in a new construct.  Vintage costume jewelry, 16 inches.
