1980 KENNETH J. LANE PEAR BROOCH

Originally done in pearlized blown glass in 1966, the design was resurrected in the mid 1980s in cast plastic in a variety of colors.  Fully dimensional this 1980s version  is a deep green at the bottom with a little gold bloom-end, and  with some color variation on the body of the pear.   Topped by a crown and leaves with rhinestones set in textured gold tone.  Vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition. 2 5/8 inches.    The original is shown in Kenneth J. Lane Faking It, page 82.  The cast version, like this one, is shown in Costume Jewelers The Golden Age of Design,  by Joanne Dubbs Ball, valued at $250-$300 in 1990.

1910 NEGLIGEE CRYSTAL BEAD NECKLACE

The uneven dangles mark this as a Negligee style; silver tone chain and faceted beads make up the eye pleasing design.   The NECKLACE is about 14 1/2 - 15 inches and front has a fall of 2 3/4 inches.   In very good condition, vintage costume jewelry.

EXOTIC STERLING RHINESTONE EMBELLISHED BIRD

Circa 1930s original, yellow gold plated Sterling fantasy bird BROOCH.  About 4 inches at the wing tip to tail tip, the rhinestones are bright and clear.   Note the darkened area near the pin stem hinge on the back;  it appears that a very professional and almost undetectable repair has been done here, with no adverse effect to the brooch.  Marked Sterling.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition, circa 1930s.

REGENCY BRACELET  *** SET ***

Light sapphire blue, flexible BRACELET with two rows of round rhinestones and a center row of pear shapes & crown set rounds. Some of the rhinestones are either crystal aurora borealis or light blue aurora and they add Spark to an already quality sparkling set.  Marked Regency, all prong set in the old gun metal mountings common to Regency.   The Bracelet is 7 1/4 inches long x 7/8 inch wide, in excellent condition.   The matching clip EARRINGS are 1 3/8 inches.  Vintage costume jewelry, top quality.

VINTAGE IVORY ELELPANT PENDANT

Fetching elephant, a nice big chunk of carved ivory, 2 inches tall.   From the 70s, the metal blanket, toes & tusk show light wear to the gold tone plating, not obvious.   Red rhinestone eye and a curlicue tail, suspended from a 28 inch, gold tone chain   Schraeger lines seen front and back and the crosshatching everyone looks for in ivory is seen on the bottoms of his feet.   Vintage estate jewelry in very good condition.

FAMILY TREE, TREE OF LIFE BROOCH

This tree may represent something specific, or be a museum shop piece (as it  came in with others).   It is well done, with the texture of the leaves looking almost like tiny gold nuggets.  The leaves and base are gold tone, the trunk is silver tone.   There is an undecipherable small mark on the back.   The BROOCH can be worn as a pendant and is about 2 inches tall.   Vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition.

JULIANA BLUE INTAGLIO BRACELET *** SET ***

Eight links, the repeating sapphire blue glass intaglios are richly set in a heavy royal crown style mounting.  Take a closer look at the mountings.     A bit unusual for Juliana but it does have the tell tale Juliana clasp with no signs that it is not original to the bracelet.  The BRACELET is 7 1/4 to 7 3/8 x 1 inch by 5/16 deep.  Matching omega clip EARRINGS are abut 1 inch.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.
