ROMAN MOTIF CAMEO BRACELET

Seven plaques, natural, layered two color shell has been hand carved so that the depictions are white over a peachy-beige background.   Very nicely done and set in 900 silver  metal, twisted wire rope edging inside a scalloped edge.  The plaques would have been carved in Italy, and probably set in the metal in Germany.   7 1/16 inches long,  just over 1/2 inch wide.   Circa 1920-30 vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.

Sugar coated peppermint candy!   Aren't these beads great?   Beautiful plastics, lightweight and comfortable to wear,  came out of Germany circa 1950-60 and these are some of the best.   The large "peppermint" stripe pink & gold on white beads are nugget shape and coated with tiny "sugary" spheres.  Faceted rose pink beads, little faux, simulated pearls and opaque light rose beads along with gold tone end caps complete the confection.   The NECKLACE is  two strand, about 22 inches long, with the largest beads 1 1/4 inches x 3/4, and a hand wired cluster clasp.   The matching clip EARRINGS are 1 inch, & hand wired on gold tone.  Vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition.

These cozy birds on a  branch are pavéd on the wings and neck with tiny clear, sparkling rhinestones.   The pendant is gold tone, while the wings, neck and their little feet grasping the branch are silver tone.   The belly of each is a faceted, unfoiled transparent glass pear shape.   Thought to be contemporary, signed with an unrecognized symbol on the pendant & the clasp.  Length is about 17 inches.   Costume jewelry in like new condition.

ART GLASS, WEISS STYLE FLOWER BROOCH

Perfect use of tricolor art glass!   Each of the faceted glass marquise shapes is transparent with opaque yellow and a color best described as similar to the natural mineral "Morganite", a pinky pumpkin color.   Interesting they have been left unfoiled, allowing glimpses of the underlying gold tone setting.  The center of the flower is finished with a ring of Jonquil rhinestones and a single round topaz rhinestone.   All prong set, in hand soldered gold tone mounting.   About 3 1/4 inches long, the  excellent condition.vintage costume jewelry is similar to many Weiss designs, but is unsigned.

First rate design & technique.  the center flower is sparkling Jonquil yellow rhinestones, flanked by a light & dark amethyst rhinestone floret and a light and dark sapphire blue rhinestone floret.  The center was cast in two parts and hand assembled.  The two sides are hinged to the center and have additional florets, clear baguettes and peridot color rhinestones.   Gold tone snake chain, with chain extension for adjustable length to about 16 1/2 inches.  In like new condition, marked patent pending.

UNUSUALLY COLORFUL, LARGE BRACELET

While the bracelet may not be unique, I have no reference for other jewelry like it and it has been in a box for over 6 years waiting for identification.  For a while I thought the flowers might be Edelweiss, but they are not.  The colorful, hand painted frames shout of  a warm climate but the flowers are not tropical in nature.  The roughly sketched, bubble-gum-pink  cabachons are highly colorful, multi- story buildings with trees, one of which may or may not be a pine.   Certainly eye catching and fun to wear, as well a a mystery.   Four, cast, silver tone links,  2 1/8 inches wide,  7 1/4 inches long fits an average wrist.  Links are slightly curved and are almost 1/2 inch in depth.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

UNUSUAL FACETED CRYSTAL NECKLACE *** SET ***

Each bead station is made up of three faceted roundelle beads, and the stations are graduated from 17 mm (almost 1/2 inch) in the front to 9 mm (3/8 inch) near the back.  Ten stations, separated by chain and little textured, mil grain, fancy links, length 16 inches. A beauty in first class excellent condition, it was still in the original silk lined, red enameled wood box, with a sticker "Cellinicraft".  The box is available, but time has taken its toll and the box hinges and glue joints are falling apart.  Matching drop EARRINGS are screw back, about 2 inches long.  Seller will convert to hooks, if desired with loss of the surmount bead at the top.   Vintage costume jewelry inn like new condition, circa 1930-40.
