IVORY BILLIKEN CUFF LINKS - VINTAGE

Happy little elf fellows, you won't see these often.   This is vintage ivory, scrimshawed in black and set with a natural gold nugget flake for a belly button.  Although originated elsewhere, the Billiken was adoped in Alaska as a figurine almost a hundred years ago.  This one is a more recent carving, circa 1950-60, in excellent condition, about 7/8 inches.

LARGE THICK VINTAGE IVORY BANGLE BRACELET

Extra thick, almost massive and should fit a slightly larger than average wrist, this vintage African elephant ivory BRACELET is in like new condition though it is known to be between 40-50 years old. It was never worn and it will acquire a mellow patina, becoming prettier every year. Schraeger lines and cross hatching are obvious on every surface. The bracelet is 21 mm wide (3/4+ inch, 16 mm thick wall (5/8 inch), and measures 2 5/8 inches across the center opening.

IVORY EARRINGS ~ VINTAGE

Vase shape dangling earrings are incised with a rose on each side.  The surmount, on clips, is a small rose.    Total length is 1 1/2 inches.   Vintage elephant ivory, circa 1950, in like new excellent condition.

SOLD! 0611 STUNNING IVORY EARRINGS  ~ VINTAGE

Rectangular 1 1/8 inch, pierced post EARRINGS, slashed diagonally with 1/2 elephant ivory and 1/2 black material (no positive identification but thought to be ebony).  Schraeger growth lines are very evident in the ivory portion of the earrings.   Vintage elephant ivory in new, never worn condition, they are old stock from a closed store.
