HERRINGBONE CARVED BANGLE

Old elephant ivory, beautifully carved.   This band exhibits a spiral pattern on the top & sides and a smooth inner aspect.   Every other spiral is carved in a herringbone pattern.  This bracelet has tiny pinholes on the sides and the bracelet was probably wound with a thin 14K gold ribbon at one time.   I like it the way it is and you will, too, as the design is very distinctive.   Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.  3/8 inches thick, 2 1/2 inches across, fits an average wrist.  Has acquired a very mellow color.

A single hand carved elephant ivory rose enhanced with a silver tone leaves on stem.   By Krementz, the metal is a white gold overlay.  The rose is over an inch wide and deeply carved of vintage elephant ivory.  The entire brooch measures 2 1/2 inches.  Estate jewelry in excellent condition.  The ivory is just beginning to acquire the mellowness of age.
