SOLD! 1108.. DAVID KUO ENAMELED CHAMPLEVE BROOCH

Research doesn't reveal much about the artisan who designed and produced this beautiful BROOCH.   It is signed David Kuo and Champleve in hand written script on the cobalt blue enamel back.   Another seller seems to believe that his work was sold at Nieman Marcus.  What I do know is that the design, execution and color palette are all excellent and the  workmanship is superior.  The beautiful choice of colors is further enhanced by the use of small sections of transparent, colored enamels over foil.   The pieces I have acquired were purchased in 1988 and and one of them is marked China Cloisonne Co. ~ Beverly Hills, though the receipt for another piece is from a store in Evanston, Ill.    1 5/8 inches. vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.

SUPERB DEMI-PARURE, STUNNING COLORS

So fabulous there isn't much that needs to be said.  All rhinestones are prong set in hand soldered gold tone mountings.  The NECKLACE is adjustable to 17 1/2 inch x 7/8 inch.  The BRACELET is a clamper that closes at the top center, though you wouldn't suspect that, and the central top is placed at an angle so that the shoulders and bottom of the bangle make a bit of a "twist", which is very flattering to the wearer.  Fits an average wrist; the spring mechanism is tight and the bracelet is secure.   The clip EARRINGS are 1 1/4 inch.    Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.  Top quality, wonderful design & execution, no maker's mark.
