LARGE, LAPIS COLOR PENDANT

ART GLASS  'ALEXANDRITE'

The most unusual color change glass stones I've ever seen, these change color as they are moved under a fascinating juxtaposition of unusual facets.    The predominant colors are fuchsia and green, though coppery orange and teal are also seen.  The stones themselves are asymmetrical and are faceted to an off center point on the top and are foiled on the back.  All prong set in black, Japanned metal, probably circa 1940, the earrings have the tiny triangular clip common on early clip earrings.  Green rhinestones outline the body of the butterfly.  The original rhinestones for the eyes were missing and have been replaced with a  zircon teal color.   The BROOCH, almost two inches wide is in perfect condition with the exception of a small percussion on the point of the larger left wing.  The EARRINGS,  3/4 inches, have some chipping & wear of the black japanning (I will be glad to re-enamel this area if requested.   Vintage costume jewelry,  excellent & very good condition.

LALIQUE STYLE NOUVEAU PENDANT, 14K GOLD

Superb lalique style, hand carved  & frosted rock crystal pendant.   The 1 3/8 inch x 13/16 inch pendant is double sided, showing three buds, foliage and one small flower.  Note the Deco style bail at the top of the pendant.The beads are faceted rock crystal and beautiful, tomato-red fine natural coral, on a 14K yellow gold 18 inch chain.  Fine estate jewelry, vintage circa 1910, excellent +++ condition.
