ENAMELED GRASSHOPPER BROOCH, by ART

Some of the most interesting figural enamels of the era were produced by Art.   Textured gold tone legs, and the body is enameled in black, aside green, red and caramel.   Cast in base metal, two parts joined by rivet.    Vintage costume jewelry in very good condition .. close examination reveals light crazing in the enamel of the wings.   2 1/4 inches long.

Frank Hess, a designer for Miriam Haskell, went on to form his own company after he retired from Haskell.   Eventually he went to work for Kramer,  in 1963, and designed the Kramer "Amourelle" line of costume jewelry.  The similarity of this signed Amourelle to Haskell is remarkable.  All of the elements, leaves, beads, and rhinestones are hand wired to filigree with a covering filigree back.   2 inches x 2 1/4 inches, vintage costume jewelry in like new condition.

SATINY FLOWER

Very striking BROOCH, the petals are antiqued gold tone with a florentine texture that looks silken.  The edges of the petals are finished in a way that makes them appear hand made, though the piece is cast (three pieces) and joined in the center by a rivet.   The stamen in the center is silver tone.   Signed ART, this is one of my favorite all-metal pieces of jewelry, 2 inches.   Vintage costume jewelry in like new excellent condition, circa 1960.

FABULOUS ENAMEL by ART ~  SIAMESE DANCER

Great design and execution!   (Of course, I've always been partial to enamel pieces by Art, especially the Rooster).   The body is a bronze metallic enamel, the skirt, which is pierced, is metallic green and matte red and falls from a row of faux, simulated pearls.  The bodice is blue.   She wears gold tone arm & ankle  bracelets and a red and green collar, along with a red had embellished with clear rhinestones.  Great attention to all the little details in this design.     Small enamel chip on the hat, some minor wear on the knees.    Vintage costume jewelry 2 1/4 inches in very good condition.

EGYPTIAN REVIVAL BREASTPLATE PENDANT NECKLACE

The star of the show is the center of the pendant, which is Egyptian/Deco style wings with a large, dappled green, molded Scarab.   The scarab motif is carried out into the chain and the dangle in colors that represent Turquoise, Coral, Amethyst, and Lapis (all are glass).   Note the attention to detail in the drop dangles which are amphorae shape and the links which form double pillars.   Signed Assessocraft, gold tone, vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition.   The chain necklace is 20 inches long.   The pendant drops 7 1/4 inches from the chain.

RED BEAD SPRAY *** SET ***

Gorgeous Made In Austria BROOCH .. a cluster of gold tone,  frosty finish, scoop shape leaves dotted with purple and rose aurora borealis rhinestones on stems, encloses a spray of garnet-red, faceted & graduated beads.   The bead spray is on gold tone stems with nail head terminals.   The clip EARRINGS, made in Austria, may not actually be a "match" to the brooch as instead of leaves there is a bow and the beads are two garnet red and one amethyst color, nevertheless a better match would be difficult to make.    The brooch can be purchased without the earrings, if desired, please inquire by email.   The brooch is 2 1/4 inches, in like new condition.   The earrings are 1 1/8 inch in like new condition.

BELLINI SWORD IN ENCRUSTED SCABBARD
