HOBE' STERLING RING

The ornate ribbon, bouquest & scroll style design produced by the Hobe' company in the 1940s.  The double shank has been cut in order to allow adjustment to any finger size.  Can easily be permanently soldered to size by any bench jeweler, priced correspondingly.   Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.

HOBE' STERLING BOW BROOCH

One of Hobe's more famous patented designs, this sterling bow has six loops, each of which has an applied leaf laid along the top, two bow ends, a large center rose with multiple, layered petals,  and three stemmed buds along each side.   Circa 1940s, Sterling, marked Hobe Sterling Design Patented on a round applied plaque.   Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition.  2 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches.   This has been lightly polished to bring out it's beauty; you can see on the back  the depth of the original  tarnish.

Finely made, stylish drop clip EARRINGS by Hobe.  Huge 18 mm teardrop rhinestones are hinged to a confection of clear baguette rhinestones in a classic design.  See the enlargement for side view of the arrangement.  All prong set in silver tone rhodium plate, vintage costume jewelry, excellent condition 1 3/4 inches.

HOBE STERLING BUTTERFLY BRACELET

Handmade in sterling, from Hobe, set with blue glass stone. Nice detail, each joining link has a trefoil of granulation.  There is a small blob of metal on the bottom of one link, see arrow, indicating a prior repair, otherwise in excellent condition.  Length is 7 1/2 inches x 1 inch.  There is some evidence that this may have originally had a gold wash.  Circa ... perhaps 1935-48.  Vintage costume jewelry.

Lovely set, the "pink opal" is art glass made to resemble opal and has been set, along with faux, simulated pearls and aurora borealis rhinestones in antiqued gold tone settings.  The outer row of pear shapes form the center of a flower with he petals just above the opal and a set of leaves near the bottom of the opal.   Vintage costume jewelry in excellent condition, signed Hollycraft, no date.   The BROOCH is 2 inches wide in excellent, like new condition.   The matching clip EARRINGS are 1 inch, in excellent, like new condition.

HOLLYCRAFT *** SET ***

Hollycraft 1953, the BROOCH, while it looks flat, actually forms a pinwheel pattern of the largest rhinestones.  The brooch measures 2 inches; 5 of the small yellow rhinestones show some graying but I think it best not to replace them at this time.   The matching, domed, clip EARRINGS are 1 inch.

An early piece of costume jewelry from Harry Iskin, it is signed "Iskin" rather than the usual initials.  Gold filled yellow and rose tone metal, nice attention to detail in the joining links, and the slightly Nouveau flavor.  Centers are light topaz color glass rhinestones.  Length is 7 5/8", width 7/16".
