JERUSALEM CROSS ~ STERLING ~ TIGER-EYE GEMSTONE Excellent example of the Jerusalem Cross genre! The cross
is marked Sterling 935 Jerusalem and is set with an oval Tiger-eye
gemstone. Tiger-eye is a natural gemstone of the Quartz group
and it exhibits a wavy light-ray and a silky luster. The cross
is 2 1/4 inches wide and suspended from a 28 inch wheat chain, marked
925. NECKLACE is encased in silk lined wood box, the top
of which is hand carved with a cross. Vintage estate jewelry
in like new excellent condition. |

COPPER AND GLASS ENAMEL BRACELET Large links of chocolate brown enamel, white overlay and color splatters,
with very interesting V-shape , oblong, polished copper nail
head link joinings. The BRACELET is 6 5/8 inches,
fits a small to average wrist and is 1 inch wide. Vintage

FABULOUS STERLING FLOWER BRACELET Overlapping large flowers and a single leaf nestle across the top of
this Sterling cuff artisan BRACELET. Be sure to click on

STERLING FLY PIN Wings fully extended, they are hand engraved with a radiating
pattern. The body is corrugated and the head is set with a natural
turquoise. Sterling, 1 1/4 inches, vintage estate jewelry in
excellent condition. Probably Southwestern Indian,
perhaps Navajo. |

on HOLD! 0708.. SPACED & LAYERED COPPER CUFF Lines and circles, plus layering creates the
interest here. The inner bracelet is linear corrugation.
The outer bracelet is a wave design with pierced circles. The two
are spaced about 1/8 inch apart and joined near the ends with rivets, seen
on the outside as studs. Signed Renoir, 2 1/4 inches

NECKLACE. A choker, about 15 inches x 1/2 inch

MATISSE ENAMELED "CHARM" CUFF BRACELET Interesting enamel swirl design is repeated in the four panels of this
copper, hinged cuff BRACELET. Opaque white and transparent
gold tone swirl around a center transparent enamel copper color
moon. A matching charm dangles near the
hinge. 2 1/4 inches across, it will fit a 6 1/2 inch of
smaller wrist. Width is 3/4 inches. Vintage costume

REVERSIBLE PENDANT, STERLING Adorable, the hinged center can be rotated to reveal black onyx and a
gorgeous "ripple" effect Mother of Pearl cabochon on the opposite
side. Vintage sterling pendant, 1 1/4 inches including the bow
and bail, on an 18 inch, supple box chain. |

ZUNI INLAID HUMMINGBIRD BROOCH A real beauty ... sterling, inlaid on the body with brown shell and
white shell etched to indicate feathers. Natural
turquoise and natural coral complete the composition. Can
be worn as shown or with the flower and beak pointed upward; it also
has a hidden ring for wearing as a pendant. Sterling (not marked),
vintage estate jewelry signed in cursive "Andres Lokjose, Zuni".
Very nice quality work, in excellent condition. |

TURQUOISE STERLING EARRINGS Natural turquoise, hand made southwestern Indian, probably
Navajo. Note the natural shapes are framed in a twist rope
style frame and then an additional frame enhances one side only.
Pierced post with 5 mm ball surmount. Free conversion
to sterling French Hooks, if desired, ask me. As shown the
length is 1 1/2 inches including the surmount. Vintage estate
jewelry in excellent condition. |

EISENBERG ORIGINAL KNOCKOFF During the 40's some of the costume jewelry being sold in the US by US
companies was "outsourced" to Mexico. Eisenberg Original
produced some silver & non-silver jewelry there, much of it set
with a dyed green onyx. Not actually jade, it was called "Imperial
Mexican Jade". If you read Vintage Fashion & Costume Jewelry,
you will find an article "Eisenberg Ole'" about these pieces,
authored by Bobye Syverson, in Vol. 17 No. 1, 2007, one picture presented

The bracelet for sale here bears no mark except "Made in Mexico". appears
to be sterling, and the carving of green Malachite is less
defined than those shown in the referenced article. The
conclusion is that it is possibly an unsigned Eisenberg Original or a
knockoff of their popular design. Measures about 6 1/2 inches, fits
an average wrist. |

EAGLE MOTIF COPPER CUFF BRACELET The repeating design is quite elegant, with the motif being drawn
from southwestern Indian glyphs representing eagles. The
design band is riveted to a plain copper cuff. 3/4 inches
wide, 2 1/2 inches across the center, this bracelet will fit a normal to
larger 7 inch wrist. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent
condition, marked "solid copper" on the inside, probably circa 1950. |

BOLD & STUNNING ~ MEXICO BYPASS BRACELET IN CACTUS MOTIF Marked "Taxco, Mexico, Sterling", and an excellent example of
the best of the heavily sculptured
look. The edges are thick with a twist rope design which ends in a volute, while
the central portion is dotted liberally with cacti, dots representing
spikes and little granulation balls representing buds or flowers, blackened background
for drama. Vintage sterling BRACELET, will
fit a 6 1/2/63/4 inch wrist, width (end to end) is barely short of
4 inches, width at the hinge on the bottom is 1 1/8 inch. weight
is almost two ounces. |
