QUETZALCOATL ~ A DRAGON-LIKE MOTIF FROM THE AZTECS Beautifully worked sterling BRACELET, the design is a double layer,
with the top layer heavily worked in the repousse' fashion.
Quetzalcoatl is translated as the feather serpent god. You can
clearly see the feathers atop the head, the long serpents tongue tipped at
the end with a fork, the scaled body and the claw feet.
Worship of the feathered serpent deity is first documented around 400 BC.
In some areas of Mexico he was also known as Kukulcan and Gukumatz.
The Aztecs related this god to the gods of wind, of Venus, the dawn, and
others. The bracelet is a bypass style, average size, measurement
from feathered head to feathered head is 4 inches. Width across at
the hinge is 1 inch. Marked 925 (sterling), Initials appear to be
ES, surrounded by Hecho en Mexico. Estimated retail replacement

PERFECT EXECUTION OF A SIMPLE DESIGN ~ LILY EARRINGS All the elements of this design come together to make perfection.
These Sterling clip EARRINGS are simply lovely. Made in Mexico,
they were probably screw back earrings from an early era. They have
been professionally converted to clip back earrings. Vintage
estate jewelry in excellent condition, 1 1/4 inches.

LIQUID SILVER NECKLACE Twenty strands of tiny sterling rod shape beads. The little beads
measure approximately 3 mm x 0.5 mm and they truly do look like a stream
of silver. There is an incredible (approx.) 6,000 beads in the
NECKLACE, these are made by southwestern Indians. Contemporary
estate jewelry in like new condition. |

SPLENDID FIGURAL BROOCH Unusual sterling (tested & guaranteed) BROOCH is perhaps a
Royal Scottish service of the 1940s, or perhaps another part of the
Empire. The head covering may be a turban, style is
undeterminate. His jacket is red paint enamel set with color
baguette rhinestones. The shield is set with rhinestones. He
wears a skirt, perhaps it is a kilt, with a hinged fringe of
faux, simulated pearl drops at the waist. His knee guards, face, and
hilt of the spear are also faux, simulated pearls. Use of a closing C
clasp, and the baguettes indicate that age to be late 30s or
1940s. Vintage costume jewelry, in excellent
condition, 2 5/8 inches. |

STERLING AND CHAMPLEVE' ENAMEL NORWAY BROOCH Sterling Brooch, 2 1/8 inches, enamel is transparent green over a
line design, cut or stamped into the underlying metal.

STERLING TURQUOISE EARRINGS Sterling, turquoise and spiny oyster shell. Vintage estate
jewelry in like new excellent condition, the EARRINGS are clips and
measure 7/8 inch. Marked "925", thought to be southwestern Indian
artisan. |

MINIATURE MUDHEAD KACHINA EARRINGS The Mudhead with his goggle eyes is the clown of Indian
ceremonies, both in the Zuni tribe and the Hopi tribe. These are
hand carved of wood, perhaps balsa, as they are very light. The
skirt is a fabric simulating suede and the fluffy neck piece is probably a
bit of pipe cleaner. Care has been taken in painting these, even the
bottoms of the feet. Suspended on french hooks, the total length is
1 3/4 inches. Estate jewelry in excellent
condition. |

WHITE ENAMEL CHEVRON NECKLACE ~ BY MATISSE The bottom of each link is cut through lateraly and stair-stepped
to make two chevrons below the white enamel chevron. The copper
links are not flat, but have a slight fold in the center. It's a
beauty, in like new excellent condition, adjustable to 17

SOUTHWESTERN GRADUATED TURQUOISE RONDEL NECKLACE So elegant it can be worn with any style clothing, from your jeans to
that little black dress. The NECKLACE is graduated from 11.5 mm to 3
mm in the turquoise section. The ends are natural shell heishi, also
graduated. Vintage estate jewelry in excellent condition, the length

TOTALLY ELEGANT ENAMEL & COPPER NECKLACE Creation of the elegance is a light touch with the colors in the enamel
plus the link shapes and the stations between them. The crescent
shape links have transparent enamel over the copper, letting the color
show through as much as is allowed by a very fine misting of gray
and dark wine colors. The stations between are of bold design and
are shiny copper. Adjustible to 18 inches, width about 3/4
inch. There is a tiny percussion with fine radiating lines in
one end link. It's really hard to see, the enlargement attempts to
show it, but not successfully. You won't mind this tiny
flaw. Vintage costume jewelry in excellent

sterling silver. Modernist in style, the BROOCH is

STUNNING, GLOWING PURPLE The triple strand of 4 mm beads is adjustable to 21 inches, and the
ends are finished with Sterling keepers and hook. The almost 3
inch pendant has a silver frame and back. Note the design on
the bail .. it is repeated on the back. Marked Sterling and made in
China, this piece is nice quality and makes a nice
statement. Items from this estate were good quality and
expensive. The bead and pendant material is unknown,
though to be natural and perhaps dyed.

SOLD! 1211 SYMBOL FOR LUCK ~~ STERLING PENDANT An ancient gesture with many uses, it is often considered a lucky
symbol. This one has the number 13 and a four-leaf clover on the
