SHELL CAMEO EN HABILLE, 14K En Habille, which describes the applied white gold and diamond
necklace, makes this a somewhat unusual shell cameo. Also unusual
for the era is the hair style, which is similar to the ponytail but in not
a common hair arrangement for 1910-20. You can see the detail of the
comb which holds the hair and the long, dangling earrings she wears.
Pleasant facial expression, well executed. Set in 14K yellow
gold with a twist bezel frame. Can be worn as a BROOCH or a
PENDANT, 1 1/4 inches, vintage estate jewelry.

14K CORAL CAMEO Circa 1910 cameo with very good relief, about 3/8 inches
thick. The hand constructed frame, 1 5/16 inch x 1 1/8
inch, has a matte finish. The subject has flowers and
leaves in her hair and cascading down the nape of the neck.
The reverse is almost as interesting as the front. With the
coloring you can clearly see where two outgrowths of the coral (the round
whitish spots) gradually grew together as the branches increased in side,
became one and then the swirl of color goes around that oblong center. The
second interesting thing on the back is that the inner ridge of the frame
has small closed loops spaced around it. Each loop begins on an
inner frame and turns just slightly to end on an outer frame. I've
never seen this device before and while it doesn't seem to hold pieces
together, perhaps that is its purpose; regardless it is beautifully
done. 14K yellow gold, marked on the frame.

SHELL CAMEO 14K GOLD Nicely detailed Bacchante with a cluster of grapes & leaves in her
hair and leaves on her shoulder. Circa 1910 BROOCH can be worn as a
pendant as well. Pendant bail is hinged and folds down out of the
way when not in use. 1 5/8 inches, vintage estate jewelry,
very good condition. |

VICTORIAN STYLE HEART PADLOCK BRACELET Silver tone link BRACELET closes with a heart shape lock, the
shank of which serves as a spring ring. Every other link of the 7
1/4 inch bracelet has a pattern on both sides and alternates with a plain
link. The plating is a little worn just near the keyhole of the
heart and is showing the base metal. Vintage costume jewelry,
era unknown. |

SPLENDID DETAIL MOURNING BROOCH/CHATELETTE As mourning brooches go, this one is Tops. The thick, long
rectangular slab of onyx is rounded on both ends and is scooped out
through the center. The motif is a 14K yellow gold single stem
from which appears to hang eleven, (real) half pearl buds or
flowers. A single leaf begins its thrust toward the stem and
then folds back on itself and is decorated with tiny half pearls.
The back of the leaf and the three tiny stems are hand finished with a
linear florentine texture, and a shiny gold "ribbon" gives the appearance
of attaching to the onyx. The back of the BROOCH is 14K yellow gold
with a tube hinge, and a covered "c" clasp. There is a hook for use
as a chatelette to hang something. Beautiful workmanship,
entirely hand made. Victorian 1880-1990, in excellent +++
condition. |

VICTORIAN INLAID PIN Probably about circa 1880, this is Horn which has been inlaid with two
ivory flowers (each end), mother of pearl (the two rectangular bars
and "buds" in the center), and metal leaf with bell shape flowers,
in the enter. The front has a tiny section of the rectangular mother
of pearl missing (see arrow). The back has three small scoop
shape chips (see arrows) not seen from the front
side. Antique jewelry, 2 3/4 inches.

CIRCA 20s/30s Locking links encircle faceted, unfoiled, sapphire color glass
stone. 6 7/8 inches x 3/8 inches. Vintage costume
jewelry, very good condition. |

VICTORIAN BANGLE BRACELET Rolled gold or gold filled, not marked, this is a nice quality repoussé
bangle BRACELET, circa 1890-1910. 2 1/2 inches across x 1/2
inch wide with a wall depth of 5 mm. Antique jewelry in
excellent condition.
