INTENSE AMETHYST PENDANT in 14K

Hand fabricated PENDANT with an intense purple color natural amethyst, oval, faceted gemstone set in a collet with 'rope' edging.  The outer frame is intricately made with the curlicues beginning below the oval and curling over it and top surfaces finished with a milgraine texture.  Four tiny baroque pearls (cultured or, more likely,  natural) complete this 1910 Edwardian design.  Fine estate jewelry, excellent condition, pendant is 1 inch long, originally a pin this has been excellently and professionally converted to pendant, marked 14K.  The amethyst is large, 10 x 8 mm.  Estimated retail replacement is $600.

SHELL CAMEO, 14K yellow gold

A simple carving by a master carver.   While you will note that this carving doesn't have the many, tiny details of some fine carvings, what you will see is that the carver has achieved perfection with broader swaths.  You 'see' the delicate fabric of her dress, her fine features, the little hoop earring & the casual hair style. Executed on very thin shell, set in 14K yellow gold, dates to around 1930.  Fine Estate jewelry, 1 1/2 inches x 1 1/4 inches, can be worn as BROOCH or pendant, excellent condition.
