AMETHYST color stone, may be amethyst or glass (priced as glass), set in 14K yellow gold and adorned with a tiny natural or cultured pearl.  Tiny flake gone from the tip of the stone .. don't think you can see it, even in the enlargement, but I know it's there.  Priced accordingly.

CARNELIAN STICKPIN

The bezel around the stone tests 14K, the pin stem is base metal probably gold filled.  The stem is attached with a flat pad and soft solder, a favorite repair method of the Victorians.  Antique estate jewelry., smooth pin stem.

TERRIER

Desirable, Mid Victorian, molded brown material, hand painted.  Difficult to tell if the white patches are wear or original color.  The nose is missing some of the black enamel and the right eye has an excess of enamel.  Base metal pin stem.  Vintage Stickpin.  Shown actual size and enlarged.

CASED GLASS "PAPERWEIGHT" STYLE

Stickpins are often marriages of other materials.  This is a beautiful five sided, cased glass miniature paperweight with a flower in the center, which may have been meant for another purpose.  The flower resides on an interior dome.  Vintage stickpin jewelry, very good condition.  Shown actual size and enlarged.  The back shows the scallop metal that is attached with glue and then the stickpin is soldered to it.
